Remember the Russian spy felled by plutonium? Pretty scary episode, wasn’t it?
But wouldn’t it be great if you could pop a pill or inject a readily available serum in case some suspicious Kremlin type spikes your Starbucks latte or sprinkles something on your sashimi?
Not surprisingly, a few small companies with cancer treatments are talking to the federal government about whether their medications can be used to ward off radioactive elements, according to an interesting little piece in The Wall Street Journal (subscription required).
