Bristol-Myers Closes Canadian Unit

And some of the 115 jobs at the clinical supply operation may go to New Jersey, where the unit will be shifted. This represents about 75 percent all Bristol employees in its Candiac location, the drugmaker said in brief statement.
This is a bit of reverse trend - a drugmaker moving jobs to New Jersey. Of late, several are sending jobs - particularly, highly skilled and highly paid research jobs - out of the Garden State to Boston and its environs. In fact, Bristol just announced its closed on a deal for land to build a biologics manufacturing a site in Massachusetts.
This is good news for New Jersey (where Pharmalot resides), but the nation’s medicine chest is, by no means, overflowing.
