Express Scripts Will Win the Day

At least, that’s what one Wall Street analyst believes.
Kemp Dolliver of Cowen & Co. wrote a research note this morning in which he predicts Caremark will accept a sweetened bid and spurn CVS. To reach this conclusion, he surveyed both CVS and Caremark clients, MarketWatch reports.
And here’s an interesting finding: most folks are undecided about anti-trust concerns if one big PBM buys another. In fact, only one said it was a problem. “This data confirms our view that the Federal Trade Commission should clear Express Scripts’ offer after a brief review,” he wrote.
