Rothwell Shifted at Sanofi-Aventis

The move, which was actually put in place last week but only announced this morning, has Tim Rothwell becoming chair of U.S. pharma “activities,” which is defined as overseeing communications and government policy. He’s now concerned with such things as image.

Meanwhile, Greg Irace, who was cfo and senior vice president of finance, has been given Rothwell’s job as U.S. pharma ceo and president.

Hmm…Has Rothwell been given a better job? Anyone with inside knowledge care to comment?
