Brent Saunders, a former consultant who’s headed global compliance and helped the drugmaker wade through its dust-ups with the federal government, in June will become president of consumer health products, as well as a pet-registry unit. He reports to ceo Fred Hassan. Stan Barshay will continue in his current role as chairman of the consumer health unit, reporting to Saunders
Saunder’s replacement is Lori Queisser, who has been named senior vice president for global compliance, also reporting to Hassan. She arrives from Eli Lilly and becomes a member of the drugmaker’s executive management team. Meanwhile, Raul Kohan has been named senior vice president and president of the animal drug business, reporting to Hassan. He’ll continue to serve on the executive management team.
