Peter Rost, the notorious whistleblower, is about to publish yet another book. Only this one will be a fiction epic called ‘The Wolfpack.’
The former Pifzer exec, who is locked in a litigious struggle with his former employer, says the book isn’t about the drugmaker, but does resemble a corporate jungle.
“It does show how people turn on each other when they realize they have to do so,” says Rost, as he sipped a cup of tea at a Starbucks in New Jersey, where Pharmalot caught up with him. “There’s a lot of that, you know.”
He brushes aside taunts that his first book, ‘The Whistleblower,’ which is about his dark days in the pharmaceutical industry, was also fiction. “Writing fiction is much harder,” he smiles. “With my first book, I simply had to sit down and tell the truth.”
