Peter Cook is working feverishly to press his lawsuit against Glaxo. Who is he? Cook runs Biota, an Australian pharma that struck a deal in 1990 for Glaxo to market its once-promising flu drug, Relenza. Nothing went as Cook planned. Some $400 million is being sought.
Now, all these years later, the litigation is being portrayed, by Cook, as a lesson in what happens when a small company puts too much stock in a big pharma partner. He’s been talking up this angle to anyone who will listen.
One of those listening is OnPharma, which interviewd the effusive Cook. Look here.
