Got the blues? Having a dog can help. And Lilly wants to remind us with its new campaign ‘Support Partners: Canine Companions,’ which is also sponsored by the Psychiatric Service Dog Society. The program features tips on incorporating a dog in your life.
Of course, if your dog doesn’t do it for you, there’s always Cymbalta. And conveniently, if your dog also gets depressed, Lilly now sells Reconcile, a form of Prozac for pooches (although, technically, Reconcile is approved for separation anxiety).
What are the odds of both you and your dog feeling down at the same time? We’re not aware of any published research. No matter, Lilly is there to help take the bite out of depression.
