A Lilly Sales Rep Is Missing

Chicago police have launched a missing persons investigation for a 28-year-old Chicago woman last heard from earlier this week. Nailah Franklin, a sales rep for Eli Lilly, was last seen Sunday evening and was last heard from about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday when she sent a text message to her boyfriend, who lives in Milwaukee, according to The Chicago Tribune. Franklin is African-American and described as about 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, according to a police alert. She drives a company-owned gray 2005 Chevrolet sedan with Illinois license plate 1957855.

I followed this link for the sole purpose of seeing if this young woman was “hot”…and she is. I did this because I was curious about my theory that pharmaceutical companies hire mostly “hot chicks” nowadays as travelling pharma reps to call on their mostly male doctor clients. Not that it doesn’t make sense, but it’s a bit obvious on their part. Do your own survey of pharma reps you may know. The men are usually on the attractive side as well, but not to the point that the women reps are. I hope the young woman turns up alive, though the facts aren’t encouraging so far. I hope I meet a hot pharma rep someday who likes semi-cute, slightly overweight artistic types. I’m sure I’ll be needing a discount on my heart medication.
