Amerisource COO Exits Amid Musical Chairs

The big distributor says Kurt Hilzinger (pictured left), who is prez and coo, is leaving to join a private equity firm. Dave Yost, the ceo, will become prez, but no one will become coo. The changes come after the July spinoff of its institutional pharmacy business, which employed about 25 percent of its work force. You can read about the rest of the corporate shuffling here.
