In Ed's defense, this article came out now because of the 5 ads, and not because compounding is new (compounding predates the pharmaceutical industry).

Although this isn't the biggest issue regarding pharmacy compounding. The bigger issue is if compounding pharmacists are compounding products already produced comercially to unnecessarily jack up the bill to medicare.

Oh, but I forgot, Hilary thinks only pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies are behind health care waste.

The NYT seems to have writers who just skim the surface of what the write about.

Compounding pharmacists have been around forever. Your newspaper is lik chicken Little who screams "the sky is falling".

These bio-identical creams with estriol bypass the liver.
Surprise..surprise..mainstream...Its about money..and big drug companies..Ask women using the bio-identiacals and their doctors before you shoot your mouth off. Not the first bit of lousy reporting I've seen.
