She was diagnosed with Bipolar about the age nine or ten years old. Ja'Lika is a beautiful and smart young lady however she is very disrespectful; she has no respect for authority figures, not even for her mother, father or grandmother. She has cursed teachers and police officers out as well. I have been given every preventive programs that I can have and my child cursed them out and stated to them to get the hell out of her house and she does not want there services. These services have informed me that they will not take my case. There reason for not taking the case in because she is extremely out of control. I was so devastated with her actions in the presence of professionals that I the mother inquired that they call ACS (Administration for children's services) while in my home. The statement that was given to me by the professional workers that was in my home informed me that the ACS worker informed them that if they come out to my home to remove my fourteen year old daughter they would also removed my other children that are seven and five years old. Ja’Lika refuses to take her medication she has been in and out of five to seven hospitals this year. She has just been taken back to the hospital as I am typing you this letter. She enters in the hospital for about two weeks she does well and then she comes home and do well for about a week and then the cycle starts all over again. I even went as far as authorizing her school to administer Ja’Lika medication to her in the morning, while she is at school and I, her mother would administer her second dose at home before bedtime. I do not know what to do. I set a curfew for my child and she comes home when she gets ready. Ja'Lika took a 1.0-liter of (80 proof Vodka) to school and administered it to her school friends at a local park during school hours at lunchtime. She stole this alcohol from the wall unit in my living room. Ja’Lika has inflicted marks on her face and arm and accused her mother of doing it to the authorities that caused me to have a charge of child abuse from ACS. I love my child dearly, however I need your help desperately. I have a cat named pumpkin and my daughter throw the cat across the room because pumpkin was in her way and she was upset. Ja'Lika has hit her older sister when she was pregnant. There has been a charge of domestic violence against her. Ja'Lika kicked one of her teachers in the groin and punch him in the face; she has pulled the fire alarm in school. Ja'Lika take all her new & old clothes and throw them in the incinerator and out the window of our apartment. I am afraid of what Ja’Lika will do to me and her two little sibling sisters that are seven and five years old. Most of the time Ja’Lika younger siblings sisters will stay at a neighbor’s house when Ja’Lika is in the home this is for safety reasons because of Ja’Lika negative behavior. Ja’Lika is influencing her younger sister’s to disrespect their mother as well. Ja’Lika steal my money and lies that she didn't take it. When Ja’Lika does not get her way she calls the police and make false allegations against her mother and she even tried to have me arrested. Ja’Lika stated to a friend of mine and me that she will tell the Police and the Administration for children services anything that she can. Therefore I will lose my two little daughters and have me arrested. I hope and pray that you can help me in anyway that you can. Any type of assistance will be greatly appreciated. My child has threatened to hurt me if I put my hands on her as trying to discipline her. Today as I was cooking Breakfast I went into my daughter’s room to inform her that I needed the frying pan that she used last night. I basically wanted her to wash it out. This child went off and she was yelling and cursing me out, she told me to get out of her room and that I don't belong in her room. This child was throwing all her clothes out of the window. I also noticed that she had three knives in her room. One was a butcher knife, a craving knife and a steak knife. I am afraid for my life as well as my two little daughters. A mother should not have to live in fear in her own home. I have to lock myself in my bedroom at night be feel safe with my babies. My recent encounter with my daughter was last month when she charged me with a knife. I tried to restrain her and I was able to get the knife from her this child was cursing me out and called me all types of names but the child of god, she stormed out of the house their was no marks or bruises on her. She went to a friend’s house of mine and then to the police and informed them that I scratched her. This became an ACS case, and now I am being investigated by administration for children’s services for abuse. I called the police to inform them that my daughter charged me with a weapon. I am still under investigation I called a meeting at (ACS) Administration For Children’s Services on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 requesting services regarding placing this child in a residential program and I was informed that there is nothing that they can do. I suggested that my child be placed in a therapeutic residential program away from home. My daughter cursed me out and pushed my pocket book and phone across the table and they said nothing. My child cursed everyone out at that meeting and they did and said nothing. I asked can I voluntary place my daughter in care and they stated that it would take a long time to find placement for her. I voiced that I am a single parent crying out for help and they stated that there is nothing that they can do for me. The only way that they can do something is if abuse or neglect is involved and then they can file a case against me. I voiced to all parties at the ACS meeting what would it take for me to receive help from their agency. I guess it would take another Nizmary case to happened before my family can be serviced. I need some type of help I can not afford a private facility to send my daughter too. The sad part about it I work in the field of child welfare. Please help me! I am afraid for my other children’s life as well as my own. I am not free I live in a prison at home. Please help me a mother in distressed. Was I ever mentally ill? Or just extreamely hypersensitive? I believe the latter, and I did take the Zyprexa, and gained a lot of weight, given by a shrink who dosed according to weight, and I was too ill, to understand. Seroqeol, had me literly bouncing off the walls when I woke up, like a drunk, and a newer dr, when I called repeatly, speaking to his nurse, said he ould rather not have me as a patient. So I left. I had horrible nightmares on Seroqueol, and when I spoke to my last shrink about this, she stated that Seroqueol was known for nightmares. It killed a 4 year old girl in 07, and should be pulled.
