Send us your announcements and we’ll find a home for them. Don’t be shy. Everyone wants to know who is coming and going, especially with all the layoffs being announced each month. Despite the downsizing, there is movement. Here are some of the latest changes. Recognize anyone?
Cephalon says general counsel John Osborn has resigned;
Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals hired Gary Shangold as chief medical officer;
Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals also hired Tim Arendt as vp of sales;
Synosia Therapeutics hired Philippe Lutz as cfo;
The Corporate Council on Africa named Jeff Sturchio, a senior vp of corporate responsibility at Merck, as its new board chairman;
AstraZeneca hired Marta Brito Pérez, who was the chief human capital officer at the US Department of Homeland Security, as a human resources vp for North America and global marketing;
Wyeth hired Tim Cost, as senior vp, corporate affairs. Cost (pictured at right) was most recently at Aramark, but may seem familiar because he previously worked at Pharmacia and Bristol-Myers Squibb.
