		<description>Small point:  My guess is that the history would suggest it is less that "Merck attempted to influence" Women in Government than that there was mutual interest from the beginning.  WIG's benefactors have long included essntially every drug company on the planet, and a variety of companies that provide related products and services.  So Merck would not have had to work hard.  As I recall, WIG's headquarters and/or leadership based is Indianapolis, and central support comes from Indianapolis companies including Lilly.</description>
