When I was fired by big pharma, without any anger or threats to others employed by this company, I still had a father and son who were FBI agents show up at my door to close me out, although I stated repeatedly that any manager from this company could do the same thing. They (big pharma) label you as a danger to use to thier advantage possibly at a later date. That’s my theory. By the way, I’m sizeable and, if I really did have rage, I could have taken care of them, I suppose. Yet, and this compliments the post and above comment, big pharma has been known to have others waiting nearby your house when they close you out as well. Paranoia with schitzophrenia. What a great combination with these corporations.

Thanks for this very interesting and unusual story, Ed. I have worked in pharma a long time (admittedly not in sales & marketing)and had no idea the job of “close out” specialist existed. With many thousands pharma layoffs coming over the next few years, it looks like Cedegim Dendrite has carved a secure niche for itself.
