That Other Vytorin Panel At The ACC

So you thought there was no true panel discussion about the famous Enhance trial at the American College of Cardiology? Well, you were wrong. Peeved that Yale University’s Harlan Krumholz dominated the official session held to review the study, Schering-Plough and Merck did the next best thing - they hosted their own. And it featured John Kastelein, the primary investigator who previously lambasted the drugmakers for their handling of the data. No, an empty chair with Krumholz’s name is not seen. Warning - this runs nearly an hour. So grab a cup of coffee, or three.

What a joke! A bunch of opinion leaders who have been bought and paid for many times over trying to keep the money flowing into their bank accounts.

I think Merck has taken Dr. Krumholtz off their x-mas card list. It appears that they will send him some coal for his stocking.
