Dingell's purple prose on this subject. Still, the fact remains that many of the FDA's problems can be laid at the feet of Congress (and a series of administrations). Like an elephant, the FDA has been described as a good target - slow-moving and bleeds profusely when hit. But it is time for the donkeys and other elephants to face up to their own responsibility. It is past time. It is good to see Rep. Dingell’s purple prose on this subject.
