Wilson Grabill has left Bristol-Myers Squibb where he was vp corporate communications;
Axela added Dave Lemus, David Giddings and Bill Clarke to its board;
Alphatec Holdings hired Mitsuo Asai as president of its Alphatec Pacific subsidiary;
NitroMed says Jim Ham III resigned as vp, cfo and treasurer;
NitroMed named Ken Bate, the ceo, as interim cfo;
NitroMed appointed Kevin Sarney, the controller, as principal accounting officer.
