How did that happen? Where's the investigation? There is no time limit to prosecute murder. Obviously Bayer is taking part in Eugenics... Same as they did in Nazi Germany. I can see how it might, maybe, possibly make sense - if more hemophiliacs would die of that disease than would get AIDS - if the change created a shortage of the newer drug or if people would stop taking the drug if it became more expensive. That's still pretty cold though. And if my possibilities aren't true, then it sounds pretty bad to me. And as much attention as Merck and SP are getting for Vytorin...Merck and SP (just) sat on their hands when it came to releasing negative efficacy data - that might necessitate a policy change - but they didn't sit on serious safety data. Maybe people just didn't comment because it's 20 years old.
