It seems to me that the American people are looking for “change”, not just in
our government, but how we solve our most major problems.

We are too quick to go to war that kill or maimed our men and women; spend
billions to pay for it and large corporation make hugh profits. Negotiations
should be our weapons for peace. Recently tornadoes, floods, fires, hurricanes and floods have destroyed homes and businesses and the stricken
people are offered low cost loans to rebuild. They should be given money to
rebuild, not loans. If a foreign country suffer from natural weather problems we are quick to give free aid. But for our own people we are not as charitable.

For the health of our people we must change our way of thinking. Drugs only control medical conditions, they do not cure them. The only drug that
cures people are antibiotics and these drugs are being challenged by bacteria
that mutate. The promise of stem cell research must be accelerated along
with other scientific research yet to be discovered. I understand we are a
capitalist nation and it should stay that way, but certain necessities and
entitlements should be outside the need for corporation profits and patents.

Finally, we should have a Manhattan Project as we did to develop the Atomic
bomb to find a source inexhaustible energy. The burning of fossil fuel must
stop.
