Pharmalot… Pharmalittle… Moving On Up

graduation-capSuch a pleasant, shiny day here in the nation’s medicine chest. And what better way to celebrate than with a graduation? And so we will. One of our short people is about to ascend to greater things and, while we have blogged from hospital operating rooms, speeding trains, Little League baseball games and city streets, this time we will take a brief interlude to attend the ceremony before rejoining you in a little while…

  1. Hail to the graduate! Congratulations to the parents!

    (plastics….)

  2. Thanks Justice,

Our short person is still short enough to not be able to make a living just yet. Then again, the way the economy is going….

As to plastics, well, I remember that line. But there is oil to consider, so what is the new plastics?

    ed

  3. Ed I also add congrats to you and yours having enjoyed (endured) graduation and awards ceremonies this week for one of my own.

“nanotechnology” is big these days although too soon to tell if practical applications will be forthcoming anytime soon..

  4. Congratulations to your little one on his/her success.

Congratulations on you and your wife’s survival so far!

  5. Thanks CMC and Bruce,

This shortest of short ones can say nanotechnology, but only with a puzzled look. And then turns back to the television. Nonetheless, thank you for the tip. I’m filing it away.

And Mrs. Pharmalot is holding up just fine. Her biggest issue is coping with the ‘corporate campus’ I’ve established on the premises.

Now, back to more hunting and gathering.

    Cheers
    ed

  6. Mrs. Pharmalot must be a good and patient person. I wonder if she gets involved in the stories you report on.
My better half can’t cope with the sight of me on the computer. Of course, I can’t cope with comic book/superhero movies, so it’s a wash.

This is a fun test that your child should take to help figure aptitude. I’m curious how this industry and it’s regulators do as well.

Congrats, Ed. Maybe your young’un will follow in your footsteps?

  7. Mrs. Justice is also a bit “put out” by the time I spend with the “druggies” (her phrase) rather than helping out around the house.

She threatens to charge user fees for the computer. I just mutter, “plastics.”

    It doesn’t help.

  8. Haha

  9. Ed, Justice, et al. I must confess to a severe and long-term Blackberry addiction. My better half got one of her own so she could e-mail me while I was sitting in the same room with her. Good for the goose; good for the gander, and all that. Better than taking SSRIs, I guess. (Look for a pharma company to create a Blackberry Affective Disorder (BAD))

Have fun with the short people, Ed. It’s a cliche, but those days go by too quickly.

  10. Hey I may have actually made a good guess on nanotechnology (pulled out of a air since is a hot area)- hat tip to fiercebiotech

  11. Congrats, to all the Silvermans.

It really does take a family.

Have a wounderful Father’s Day too.

  12. I’m really very grateful for your blog, but I think it’s a shame you work while attending your child’s life. Please leave the laptop at home next game. There will be many years to work all day, all the time, soon enough…if that’s your bliss.

  13. Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Pharmalot!!

  14. R.I.P,… Tim Russert, sweet dreams…
