Pharmalot… Pharmalittle… A Time For Reflection

In observance of ancient traditions, we will take a break over the next two days in order to take stock (no pun intended). We recognize the world will continue spinning in our absence, but assure you that we will be back soon enough to resume the daily dose of news, views and chatter that turns you on. Until then, we wish you the best. And as our zeyde would say: Be strong and of good courage.

Steve,
I commend you for your most enlightening and courageous website in the spirit and inspiration of your zayde, and for continuing to follow the examples of our great folk-mensch, Hank Greenberg and Sandy Koufax.
With very best wishes that you continue to
“Be strong and of good courage.”

Phillip Rudnick,
Hmmm, did you mean to direct your comment to “ED”

Happy Holiday, Ed.

Happy New Year, Ed!
Enjoy the break — while you’re relfecting on the year that passed, I’ll note (for your readers — ever hungry for the latest dirt!) that the Medicaid System in the State of New York has dropped Vytorin — making it a NON-preferred drug for CV treatment — and requiring the universally-dreaded “prior authorization” for presecription reimbursement (effective 10.01.08). How long until the feds (and other large population states) follow suit? I dunno.
This is, quite probably, the Kenilworth Round-Two Layoff-Starter Event (do see the graphics!):

See ya’ Manana, man!

Condor - How about zetia re: NY Medicaid?
Condor
Yes, JiM — it is odd.
I wonder whether Schering’s lobbyists in Albany were triumphant, there; or whether that simply provides some cover for doctors who insist on offering it as a form of “last line” therapy.
I have feelers out for expert opinions, on the Zetia topic. . . . will report what I hear.
