Zafgen hired Tom Hughes as ceo;
Genesis Pharma named John Yang Wang to its board;
Glaxo hired Ellen Strahlman from Pfizer as chief medical officer;
Encorium Group hired David Ginsberg as ceo;
AstraZeneca added Rudy Markham to its board;
Pfizer says Andy McCormick, vp of worldwide communications, is leaving;
Genentech hired Morgan Sheng from MIT to oversee neurobiology drug discovery;
MWW Group hired Laurie Wooding for its healthcare practice;
Anesiva named Bill Houghton senior vp and chief medical officer;
Rib-X Pharmaceuticals added Joe Amprey to its board;
Aegerion Pharma added Peter Garrambone to its board;
Axial Biotech hired Joe Ross as vp of strategic initiatives;
Intouch Solutions hired Greg Kirsch as vp of creative and development services;
AtheroGenics says Dave Bearman, Forcht Dagi, Art Pappas and Bill Scott resigned from the board.
