Dr. Feczko,
You were an excellent resource for those of us on the front lines as Pfizer changed MANY paradigms of disease dx, mgm't. and tx!!!
Unfortunately, Viagra, though its introduction helped save many men's lives ('cuz they'd visit the doctor for that rx), was the beginning of the end... investment advisors, analysts and investors began to EXPECT 15% growth annually; and lawyers began writing pkg. inserts and directing research.
Happy Trails......

The same thing can also be said about Lipitor, which was discovered by Parke-Davis at their facility in Ann Arbor, which has sadly since been closed by Pfizer....

Thanks, but I was referring to Kindler's comments. Celebrex did not make the lab to the patient under his watch, since the work was done at Searle.

Hi Just The Facts,

Understood. I was referring to his role in defending Celebrex after Vioxx was withdrawn, which Kindler referenced in his g'bye note. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

Regards

Just pointing out a fact...he had nothing to do with the development of Celebrex...that was a Searle product...Pfizer was a co-marketing partner until they acquired Pharmacia.
