		<description>It's good to see that addressing pipeline concerns involves increasing R&#38;D funding.  

However, the impact of politics needs to be addressed within any company that is struggling to innovate.  Increasing resources within R&#38;D does not guarantee increased output.  It is simply not a numbers game.  Doing things the way they have been done in the past, when they have not worked, will not suffice.  Even if they have worked previously, that does not mean they will work now.  

Projects need to be given thought and time, but also need to be halted if they are not working.</description>
