Hired someone new and exciting? Promoted a rising star? Finally solved that hard-to-fill spot? Share the news with us and we’ll share with it others. That’s right. Send us your announcements and we’ll find a home for them. Don’t be shy. Everyone wants to know who is coming and going, especially with all the layoffs. Despite the downsizing, there is movement. Here are some of the latest changes. Recognize anyone?

This time around, we note that Qforma, which traffics in analytics and predictive modeling, hired Kent Harris as senior vice president of sales, new business. He last worked as a regional manager for seven years at Organon Pharmaceuticals and began his career as a sales rep for what used to be Upjohn.
Haemonetics hired Jonathan White as vp, R&D;
Algeta hired Andrew Kay as ceo and president;
Charles River Laboratories named Foster Jordan corporate senior vp;
GVK Biosciences hired Shoibal Mukherjee as sr vp clinical development;
Healthpoint hired Travis Baugh as president and chief operating officer;
Ricerca named Thomas Davidson director of toxicology and pharmacology;
National Pharmaceutical Council hired Andrea Hofelich as communications director;
Vion Pharma named Tanya Lewis vp, regulatory and quality affairs.
Bioanalytical Systems hired Anthony Chilton as chief operating officer, scientific services;
Pfizer Animal Genetics hired Mark Allan as associate global director of tech services;
SV Life Sciences added three partners - Sarah Bodary, biotech; Gary Velasquez, health care services; and Kevin Barrett, health care services;
