The only reason to opt to be a blind anorexic insomniac with numbness in your limbs and no memory is to prevent convulsions, to prevent brain damage or death, or to be able to function at all. Even then it's a pretty personal decision relating to the severity of the seizure disorder.
Yeah I love when a drug company re-markets their product based on adverse events.

As a thin person I can say this without prejudice...
I think the war on fat, as some are saying that people who are not healthy should pay more for medical insurance, is dangerous. Thin does not mean healthy. There are plenty of others issues. Shall we charge more for those who are dangerously thin? Those who have dangerous hobbies? That get fat because of their medications or thyroid disorders or simple genetics. How long should women have to lose baby weight? Do you brush your teeth often enough? Smoke? Do you sun bathe or fake tan? How about promiscuous sex? Drinking too much on Saturday night? Aspartame anyone? Caffeine? Maybe we should consider the ill effects of medications while determining who is healthy.
Do not discriminate.

I love when they combine two drugs thinking that the KNOWN side effects of one of the ingredients will magically go away. Topamax...also known as "stupidmax", due to it's severe cognitive impairing properties.
