The main point is that the Miller school thinks that this tiger is going to change his stripes….or worse they don’t care how ethical Dr. Nemeroff is as long as he brings in the $$. This man is not going to change. I won’t be giving any more money to U of Miami knowing they are so short sighted.

I tend to agree with Dr Sal. Who cares if Bill Weldon bought 8.5 million dollars of waterfront property while laying off J&J workers (Nov. 3 Pharmalot). It would have been more surprising if Uncle Bill had bought a double wide in the Ozarks.

As Dr. Giogianni points out, who cares where Charlie lives or how much money his house costs? Nobody, except maybe the IRS…or perhaps the patients who were affected by his decades-long PR campaign for pharma?

Oh, come on now, Ed. I don’t think it is anyone’s business how much the guy’s house is worth and the value of the house or any of his other personal belongings is not at all relvent to any matters involving his biomedical research. This sort of thing falls belongs in The Star, not Pharmalot. I would be quite upset if someday I, or any of the folks that frequent or write for, this website, saw their home values uses as a platform for innuendo of impropriety.
