This time around, we note that Bruce McCarthy joined Afferent Pharmaceuticals as chief executive. He was previously a vp of neuroscience development at Pfizer, where he led neuroscience drug development programs of new molecular entities. Prior to joining Pfizer, he held various roles at Abbott Labs from 1997 to 2004.
