Hired someone new and exciting? Promoted a rising star? Finally solved that hard-to-fill spot? Share the news with us and we’ll share with it others. That’s right. Send us your announcements and we’ll find a home for them. Don’t be shy. Everyone wants to know who is coming and going, especially with all the layoffs. Despite the downsizing, there is movement. Here are some of the latest changes. Recognize anyone?

This time around, we note that Acucela hired Michelle Carpenter as senior vp for regulatory affairs and development operations. Most recently, she executive director for regulatory affairs at Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences. Before that, she was vp of regulatory affairs at Oculus Innovative Sciences and vp of regulatory affairs and medical affairs at DEY Pharma.
And we have another winner. Trimel Pharmaceuticals hired Tom Rossi as president. Most recently, he was was country president and ceo of Novartis Canada, and before that he was country president and ceo at Novartis Belgium and on the Novartis Pharma European Executive Committee.

Arena Pharmaceuticals rehired Robert Hoffman as vp finance and cfo;
Repligen hired Robert Spurr as sr vp sales and marketing;
Together Rx named Pfizer’s Gary Pelletier as chairman;
CorMedix added Steven Lefkowitz to its board;
Addex Pharmaceuticals named Vincent Lawton as vice chairman;
Addex Pharmaceuticals says Vincent Mutel resigned from the board;
InfoMedics hired Charles Andrews as vp of US pharmaceutical sales;
Tranzyme Pharma hired David Moore as vp of commercial operations;
PLx Pharma named Michael Valentino as board chairman;
Verastem hired Jonathan Pachter as head of research;
Creabilis named David Roblin as chief medical officer;
ViaCyte disclosed that John West resigned as ceo for personal reasons
ViaCyte named chief technology officer Allan Robins as acting ceo;
ViaCyte promoted Kevin D’Amour to chief scientific officer;
InVentiv named Mark Dmytruk as president;
Map Pharmaceuticals hired Fred Graff has vp of commercial operations;
Avanir Pharmaeuticls hired Joao Siffert as sr vp R&D;
Omthera hired Christian Schade as executive vp and cfo;
Ockham named Meghann Smith as sr director, global therapeutic stage development;
Human Genome Sciences named Craig Parker sr vp, strategy and corporate development;
GlaxoSmithKline hired John Graham as chief marketing officer for consumer healthcare, North America;
Sinovac Biotech named Nan Wang as interim cfo after Jacob Chik Keung Ho resigned for personal reasons;
