Pharmalot… Pharmalittle… The Weekend Nears
1 CommentBy Ed Silverman // November 4th, 2011 // 7:05 am
And so, another working week is about to draw to a close. This is, of course, our signal to daydream about weekend plans. Our modest agenda includes hanging with our short people, catching up on reading and snoozing, and probably raking leaves (oh boy). What about you? Perhaps an afternoon in the great outdoors before the weather turns or maybe this is a chance to get some errands and chores out of the way. You could also plan the rest of your life. Whatever you do, have a great time and be safe. See you soon…

I applaud Bill Gates for his philanthropic good works. I applaud him equally for deciding to leave his $58 billion net worth to charity, and not to his kids. More high net worth individuals should take a cue from Gates. Too many GenY’ers have grown up with a sense of entitlement, and, as revealed from arrest records many of the “99%”ers” in “Occupy Wall Street” are actually rich, bored kids from affluent suburbs, wearing faux Guy Fawkes masks, and probably not even knowing who the man was.
