This time around, we note that Acetylon Pharmaceuticals hired Catherine Wheeler as vp of clinical development. Previously, she was site head, translational medicine, oncology at Hoffmann-La Roche. Before that, she worked for AstraZeneca.

Fate Therapeutics named William Rastetter as chairman and ceo;
Novocure hired Peter Melnyk as chief commercial officer;
Novocure hired Angela Davies as exec vp, head of clinical development;
Novocure hired Laura Benson as vp medical affairs;
Thoratec added William Hawkins to its board;
Pfizer added Marc Tesser-Lavigne to its board;
PPD ceo Raymond Hill has left the building;
Johnson & Johnson named Michael Sneed vp of global corporate affairs;
ABPI named Deepak Khanna as president elect;
Kane Biotech named Mark Matthewson as cfo;
Pfizer elected Ian Read as chairman;
EKR Therapeutics added Robert Whitehead and Joseph Mahady to its board;
Essentialis added Richard Pasternack to its board;
Eli Lilly added Katherine Baicker to its board;
Mylan Laboratories hired John Thievon as president of Dey Pharma;
Zyngenia promoted David Hilbert to chief scientific officer;
Zyngenia named Daniel Menichella as chief business officer;
