This time around, we note that Doug Petkus joined the Ketchum public relations firm as a senior counselor in the issues and crisis management group. Most recently, he was senior counsel at Widmeyer Communications and headed his own consulting firm, which focused on healthcare and consumer products. Previously, Petkus was vp of corporate communications at Wyeth until it was acquired by Pfizer.

And we have another winner. Qforma hired Ian McGuinness as vp of business development. Before joining Qforma, which traffics in analytics and predictive modeling, McGuinness was with SDI, the market reseach firm that was purchased by IMS Health, where he spent nine years, initially in a consulting role and then as a senior sales executive.
